Butterfly Lovers This romantic puzzle is inspired by a Chinese legend about a couple Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai. Zhu Yingtai was the only daughter of a wealthy family and was allowed to pursue scholarly studies disguised as a man where she met Liang Shanbo. Over the years the developed feelings for each other however by the time Liang Shanbo discovered Zhu Yingtai was a girl she was to be married off to a merchant s son. He fell in despair and later died. On the day of Zhu Yingtai s marriage she passed by his grave during the procession and begged for the grave to swallow her up so that they could be together.
