Ellen Gözel-Niehoff, also known as Madame Gözel, is an illustrator based in Enschede, Overijssel, Netherlands. She graduated in graphic design and illustration from the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen in 2002. After working as a designer for several years, she rediscovered her passion for painting and began to illustrate her “happy places.”
